Scored for quintets playing a variety of traditional and non-traditional instruments, this rudimental odyssey based on the Morse code for help uses just about everything but the kitchen sink--pots, pans, lids, silverware, glasses, bottles, cans, etc. Opportunities for improvisation account for the duration range of 3 to 7 minutes, and groups are free to double the number of players on some parts. |
