Aanvullende informatie/inhoud	Here is a beautiful collection of shorter pieces for guitar and orchestra. Gorgeously orchestrated to take full advantage of the guitar's unique qualities when set against an orchestral background, these pieces are a joy to play. This album makes a perfect choice for the early intermediate player who wants to advance technique in an orchestral setting. Never has the guitar been this much fun! Includes a high-quality printed solo part and a compact disc containing a complete performance with soloist; then a second version with the orchestral accompaniment, minus the soloist. 1. Chanson Triste (Tchaikovsky) 2. Song of India (Rimsky-Korsakov) 3. La Paloma (Yradier (Iradier)) 4. Die Lustige Witwe (The Merry Widow): 'Vilja' (Lehár) 5. L'Arlesienne Suite: Adagietto (Bizet) 6. Old Folks at Home (Foster) 7. Drink to Me Only with Thine Eyes (Trad.) 8. Silent Night (Gruber (m); Mohr (l)) 9. Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Tales of Hoffman): Barcarolle (Moderato) (Offenbach)
